Cards, cards and more cards!

My card supply is running low and I've been in need of some quick and simple ideas. Sympathy cards never come easy, and cards to just encourage and lift up those going through health problems seem to always be a must. Just think how you can make someone's day by letting them know that you're thinking of them and praying for them! I received a couple of cards last week that really made my day...and for no special reason!! That's the best excuse of all to mail a card! I love the simplicity of the card I'm sharing today. I was tempted to add a little ribbon too, but found that it really didn't need it. I didn't even add dimensionals to this one! How unusual is that?!
Ingredients: Stamps: Hello Doily, Field Flowers, Blessings from Heaven, Delicate Doilies
Paper: Sahara Sand, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Sahara Sand, Black Craft Ink
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Neutrals Brads, Snail Adhesive

I wish you could all see it in person! The embossed flowers just pop off the white and the Hello Doily background is just perfect to set it off. I also embossed the words so they have a little shine to them too. Even my husband, Larry commented on how much he liked this card! (And usually I have to ask him and he just nods!)  It is very striking IRL! And it was EASY to do. I made six of them in less than two hours.
And don't forget about the inside!
I stamped a smaller doily from the Delicate Doilies set in Sahara Sand, them embossed the scripture verse that comes in the set across the bottom. The clear mount grids really help to line it up straight. They are an awesome new tool! Go ahead and stamp up a batch today!
Happy Stampin'!
Lauri
