Punchy Scarecrow

Seems like I've been working on these forever! The poor mess I've had on Katie and Dickson's table! They're so patient with me! Lots and lots of punches and putting pieces together, then lots of help and interruptions, but so worth the effort! They are just so cute!! I also put together a punch page for the book I started with 6x6 pages so I can remember how I put them all together. The original scarecrow was done by another demonstrator, Doris Denman, and she's got some really fun punch art, but be warned, it's not for a quick card! Here's the Scarecrow:
Ingredients: Stamp Set (for the words) Always Thankful coming in the new mini catalog Sept 1st, Autumn Days for the inside
Paper: Marina Mist, Cajun Craze, DSP Cajun Craze and Marina Mist, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, River Rock, Basic Black, Riding Hood Red, More Mustard, Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Very Vanilla for the center of the card
Ink: Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Cajun Craze
Punches: Bird, Owl, 2 1/2" Circle, Three Arrows (retired) for the noses, 3/4"x15/16" Oval, Boho Blossoms, 1/2" Circle, 1 3/4" Circle
Accessories: Big Shot, Ovals Die, Square Lattice embossing folder, White Pen, Snail adhesive, dimensionals, linen thread, sponge daubers

Here's a closer picture of the scarecrow:
Isn't he just the cutest little guy?? I love him!

And a picture of my punch page for my album so I can remember how he goes together once I get all my cards sent off. Thanks Pat for sharing your book and getting me started!

Hope you're winding up the summer with lots of fun stampin' projects as the kids head back to school. Larry and Katie have their first day of teacher in service tomorrow, then the real thing starting on Monday. I'm praying for a blessed and successful year for all the teachers out there!
Happy Stampin'!
Lauri
