Sneak Peek Gently Falling

I love getting new stamps! I'll share a little sneak peek with you from the new Holiday Mini catalog available to order from in just a few short weeks! My favorite season of the year is fall, so couldn't wait to get the Gently Falling set. You'll love the leaf images and it's also a 2 step stamping set! A set of 12 stamps!  The card I made is a Z fold card and a fold that I hadn't tried before. I'll be adding this one to my favorites list and it's so easy to do!
Ingredients: Gently Falling from the Holiday Mini, words  from Always Thankful, also a new one in the Holiday Mini catalog.
Paper: More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Ink: More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Cajun Craze\
Accessories: 1" Circle Punch, 1/8" early espresso taffeta ribbon, dimensionals, Big Shot, Ovals Original Die, Snail adhesive, Decorative Label Punch, Brayer, Dotto Adhesive, Glue dots

This picture is looking from the top of it so you can see the inside and the fold on it.

Layer 1: Cajun Craze back piece 4 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Layer 2: More Mustard Z fold 10" x 4" Score at 2 1/2" and 5" then fold like a Z
Layer 3: Chocolate Chip 3 3/4" x 4 3/4"
Layer 4: Very Vanilla 3 1/2" x 4 1/2"
Inside Layer: Very Vanilla 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" stamped with leaf,
Use the largest oval from the Ovals Die and mask the front of the Very Vanilla card stock (I used Dotto to hold it in place). Ink up the brayer with More Mustard ink, then brayer across with the mask in place. Remember to keep your brayer moving so you don't end up with lines in the color. Remove the mask and add the leaves stamped in Cajun Craze, More Mustard, and Chocolate Chip. The masked area looks like another layer!
Adhere all the layers together. When you add the Chocolate Chip layer to the card Z fold, put the adhesive only on the front panel of the More Mustard card. Be sure to leave a little border without adhesive so you don't end up with extra sticky on the edge.
The decorative label punch is punched in half, stamped with a leaf image in Chocolate Chip then adhered to the front. The acorn is stamped also with a More Mustard leaf then the acorn in Chocolate Chip, punched with the 1" circle punch and added to the top of the card with a dimensional. A glue dot holds the ribbon in place.
I'd love to see all your Z fold cards!! Send me a picture of your creation.
Happy Stampin'!
Lauri
