Rock 'N Roll!

I was surprised yesterday with this beautiful card from a friend back in South Dakota wishing us Happy Easter! What a fun thing to find in the mail box yesterday! Thanks, Vickie for your beautiful card and nice note. It's always fun to hear from people back home, especially when it's a surprise!
Vickie's used the Origami Shadow Box on this card that I had taught at one of the classes before we moved. How fun to see it used again and on a card to ME!! I love the colors too! Thanks so much, Vickie! A Happy Easter back to you!

At our class on Tuesday night, we did the Rock and Roll technique. It's a pretty easy technique, but always so cool to see the different colors that come out. Remember to always ink your stamp first in the lightest color of ink, then roll the edges in the darker color. Be sure to clean the stamp off between each use so that the colors don't get muddied.
A look at the inside too!

The center of the flowers were sponged with a little of the Peach Parfait, then rolled on the edges to give the center a little more color and contrast. Of course, we couldn't leave out the inside, so stamped the flower on the corner of the Whisper White card stock. I love the finished look of a finished inside!

There's lots of dimension to the flower, and it just shouts "Spring is here!"  I love it!

I'm off to finish my scrapbook page that I started at my scrapbook classes. Katie was able to get the Serif Essentials Alphabet for one of her half price items, so I get to borrow it!!!! Can't wait to show you the finished page!
We have several stamping clubs started now, but it's not too late to join a group! Do you love to scrapbook?? Make cards?? We have a technique club meeting once a month for cards and for scrapbooking. Do you want to learn how to use those tools that you've purchased? A new technique to stamp? Just brush up on some of the things that you've already learned? Give me a call and we'll get you plugged into one of the clubs. We're having so much fun!!
Happy Stampin'!
