Valentine Candy Pocket

Image
Another demonstrator shared how to make this cute Valentine pocket and I just had to try it myself! I like it so much that I'm going to share it with the gals at my workshop tonight! What a fun Valentine treat bag! Here's a picture from the top so you can see how it goes together and how the candy fits in it. I added candy hearts to the bag and tied it with a piece of pink ribbon. Ingredients: Stamps: Loving Thoughts Ink: Riding Hood Red Paper: Twitterpated, Very Vanilla Accessories: Hearts Framelit Dies, Big Shot, Petal Cone Die, Cello bag, Ribbon, Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive, Sticky Strip, Tombo Multipurpose Glue, Pearls, Scallop Border Punch, 1/8" circle punch, candy Can't wait to share this tonight! I know they'll love it as much as I do! I'm off to cut up more paper for the other project that we'll be doing. I feel a little behind today, but spent the last two days on the couch with a stomach bug! No fun! Katie stayed home and nursed me and watc

Sale-a-bration is Here!!

Image
My favorite time of the Stampin' Up! year starts today! Click on the catalog on the sidebar to see all the goodies that you can get for free!!  With so many fun, free products, now is the time to hostess a workshop! Call me to get yours on the schedule.     We had snow here yesterday so I didn't get any stamping done. I spent the day playing in the snow with Faith. She just loves the snow and has been praying for enough to go sledding in, and yesterday her prayers were answered. We built a snowman in the front yard, and shoveled and cleaned walks here and at the neighbors. I think she would have stayed out all day if Grandma would have had enough energy! Have fun Sale-a-brating! Lauri and Faith (Faith had to spell her name while I was typing!)

Candy Conversations

Image
I've sure gotten a lot of use out of the new stamp, Candy Conversations, from the mini catalog! I love how many things you can do with just a single stamp. I'm still working on Valentines for My Golden Valentine and so far, I've used it on every single one. This time, I used it for the main image on the front and it's just so easy to wow it up a little by changing the colors of the hearts. I wanted to do some Valentines that weren't so girly and pink, so went with more of the blues and greens and just love the color combination!  I think it's one of my favorites so far! The new embossing folder, Adorning Accents, adds a lot of texture to the bottom edge and wait until you get your hands on that ribbon! It's free in the Sale-a-bration catalog as one of the goodies that you can pick with your order of $50.00.  It has such sparkle in real life! Inside I stamped the new Sale-a-bration set, Outlined Occasions, (another one of those free Sale-a-bration goodies!)
