In Memory of Sandy
I found out yesterday that one of the gals I worked with at Slingsby and Wright passed away suddenly. Sandy was an awesome lady to work with. I know she will be greatly missed. Please be in prayer for her family. Here's the card I made to send to her husband.
Ingredients: Stamp Set Inspired by Nature, sentiment from Thoughts and Prayers
Paper: Baja Breeze, Old Olive, Whisper White, Not Quite Navy
Ink: Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Not Quite Navy
Accessories: Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die, Baja Breeze seam binding, Mat Pack and paper-piercing tool, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Big Shot, dimensionals (of course!), SNAIL adhesive
On a lighter note, Katie and I went for manicures and pedicures yesterday! What fun! I could get real spoiled with that kind of treatment! It was the first time I've ever let someone else do my nails and I've never done my feet! She was really careful with my broken foot and they look so cute! I did find it's a little harder with the nails done to pick up little things...I didn't do the fake nails, just the acrylic overlay so it made them thicker and tougher. I feel like such a girl! HA!
BEAUTIFUL Sympathy card Lauri...love the colors. So very sad about your past co-worker.
ReplyDeleteLauri, I did not know that you moved to Nevada. I came across your Stampin Up page only by accident. This page touched my heart. Larry and I knew Sandy, too, and when she wasn't at the front desk to greet us, we found out about her death. What a shock. Your card is beautiful and I will be stopping by your web page often. Be sure and greet that husband of yours from us.
