Candy Wrappers

I'm part of a vendor fair next weekend here in Elko, so have been working on a little give away from me to those that will be stopping by. This little candy wrapper is done with the two tags die and the Big Shot and went together fairly quickly. What a fun little place card this would be for your Thanksgiving table, or even at your next Bunco night! You could stamp anything on the tag to make it fit your occasion.
Ingredients: Stamps: French Foliage, Just Believe
Paper: Crumb cake, Naturals Ivory, Cajun Craze, So Saffron, Very Vanilla, DSP Spice Cake
Ink: More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Cajun Craze
Accessories: Big shot, Two Tags Die, Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta ribbon , floss, sticky strip, Snail adhesive, dimensionals

Here's a picture of the back side so you can see the randomly stamped images and the direct to paper that I did on the edges to bring them out.

Here's a picture of the whole pile of them.
Aren't those little chocolates sweet with the wrapping paper? I cut the paper 1 1/2"x 3". There was no waste at all on a 12x12 sheet of paper! I love the new Spice Cake paper coming in the new Holiday mini catalog. You should be getting your copy of the mini catalog in the mail this week or next!
One final picture of the little wrapped chocolate bars. I chose four designs that went with the outside wrappers and wrapped Hershey minis bars. (I didn't eat too many of them as I worked!)

Katie taught me how to make a new Indonesian dish last night for dinner. She made Rendang, which is a spicy stir fried beef and vegetables. I think I have another favorite Indonesian recipe to make!
School started today for Larry and Katie. I think both were just a little nervous with the first day. We spent a lot of time this weekend getting both classrooms set up and ready for students today. Wish them well and pray for a good year!
I'll be working on a couple of scrap book pages today between kid naps. I want to be able to display a couple of those this weekend, and didn't bring any of my done projects with me. Look for those in a day or two! Happy Stampin'!
