Forever Friends

This has been a hard page for me to scrapbook. When we decided to move to be closer to grandchildren, I didn't realize how hard it would be on me to say good-bye to my dear, dear friends back in SD. We shared lots of tears, and this picture was taken after we had been crying, so you will notice our red eyes and noses from our tears. Oh what dear friends and how I miss them! I guess you could call this page therapy for me! Thank you Ellie and Susan for all the years you've just loved me for me, for all the years of praying me through the struggles of everyday life, and for all the years of being my best friends! I love you dearly and cherish our friendship. I know that even though miles separate us now, that we will be Forever Friends!
Here's a couple of close ups for the details on the page.

I added a hidden journal piece that slides out of the side of the picture. I just had too much to say about our friendship to fit it into just a couple of sentences!

I wrote out my journaling, then printed it on my journaling block and can hide it behind and read it only when I want a good cry! I lifted the picture off the page with dimensionals to make the journaling easy to pull out  and will slit the page protector to let it be pulled through easily.
Here's a list of the ingredients for you:
Stamps: Digital Letter It ( a digital download I purchased for my Digital Design Studio that I can print out in different sizes and any of the Stampin' Up! colors)
Paper: Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Spice Cake DSP, Pool Party
Ink: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake for sponging the edges
Accessories: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Designer Frames Embossing Folder, Sponges, Dimensionals, Victoria Crochet Trim, Antique Brads, Extra Large Oval Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Snail Adhesive, Soft Suede Marker

I certainly have felt the need to write down all my thoughts about this special friendship that I share. Don't let those memories get lost! Write them down and put them in a scrapbook!
Happy Scrappin'!
Lauri
