Lovely As A Tree

I had too many sympathy cards to get made and sent out last week. My Uncle Lloyd passed away, a friend back in SD, and a friends' Mother. I always struggle with making just the right card for sympathy cards. Lovely As A Tree seems to be the stamp set that I always fall back to for them, so when I saw this sample on Pinterest, I decided it would make the perfect card to relay my thoughts and prayers.

I stamped the trees with the Soft Suede and stamped them three more times without inking the stamp again. I offset the oval punched in the Soft Suede with the stamped sentiment punched with the same size oval punch.  Inside was stamped with the trees again, and the Praying for You sentiment from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set.

Ingredients: Lovely As A Tree, Thoughts and Prayers
Paper: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede
Ink: Soft Suede
Accessories: Big Shot, Houndstooth Embossing Folder, Very Vanilla Seam Binding, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Large Oval Punch, Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive

I pray as my cards arrive that they are received with the love and prayers that they were sent with. Hard times to go through for sure, but lots of blessings and good memories too.
Bless someone today by letting them know that you're thinking of them and praying for them, no matter what they may be going through.

  1. I'm sure your cards will give them much love and blessings when they receive them. Very pretty card.
