Hello Doily Again

This is fast becoming one of my favorite stamp sets! I love what you can do with this elegant doily and it's simple to make a quick and easy card with it.  It reminds me of the doilies my Grandma used to make. She was so talented and I learned so much from her! She was still making doilies at 100 years old! What an amazing woman she was! So as a tribute to my Grandma, here's another Hello Doily card!

Ingredients: Stamp set: Hello Doily
Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: White Craft Ink
Accessories: White embossing powder, Heat Tool, Embossing Buddy, Black satin ribbon, Lace Ribbon border punch, Crop-A-Dile,
Snail adhesive, dimensionals

Don't forget the detail on the inside! It adds so much to a card that you've worked so hard to make pretty on the outside. Just keep it going to the inside!

The paper inside is really Whisper White, but for some reason, I just couldn't get my camera to pick that up today. I love the black and white! I haven't added a sentiment yet, so can use them for just about any occasion. Who wouldn't love to get this in the mail?
We're off to watch the movie Cars and make some popcorn. What could be better?!

Work, work, and more work, leaves little time for playing! As a new teacher this year, I'm spending a lot of time coming up with new ideas and ways to share ideas with kids. I'm loving every minute of it, but it leaves little time for stamping! I have done several classes and have done a little bit of stamping, but not near enough! My fingers are itching to get back at it! Here's a couple of samples of things that I've gotten done...   This one is masked, shaded and then unmasked and stamped with the leaves. Simple design, but fun to do and makes a great guy card...which as you know, can be hard to come up with! I made these with my scrapbook group on Wednesday night, and they loved them! I stamped a leaf in the corner, and then one on the outside of the envelope too. This one I've done before, but just love the design and the technique! Punchy Scarecrow

Seems like I've been working on these forever! The poor mess I've had on Katie and Dickson's table! They're so patient with me! Lots and lots of punches and putting pieces together, then lots of help and interruptions, but so worth the effort! They are just so cute!! I also put together a punch page for the book I started with 6x6 pages so I can remember how I put them all together. The original scarecrow was done by another demonstrator, Doris Denman, and she's got some really fun punch art, but be warned, it's not for a quick card! Pumpkin Lollipops

What fun Faith and I had yesterday making these easy little pumpkin lollipops! No stamping involved, just cut, punch and decorate! An easy craft to do with your kids and grand kids. Faith had so much fun naming them as we went. Can you see which ones look like Grandpa? Grandma? (that's me!) or her Mommy or Daddy?? Michael? Gabe? Lily? Collin? Ingredients: Paper Pumpkin Pie Ink: Cajun Craze, Riding Hood Red Accessories: Large Oval Punch, Black Marker, White Pen, Sponge Daubers, Old Olive Ribbon, Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive, Glue Dots, Lollipops The Pumpkin Pie paper is cut 5 1/4" by 1 1/2", scored at 1 7/8" and 3 3/8" All the ovals were sponged with Cajun Craze, the face drawn on with markers and the white pen, the cheeks added with the Riding Hood Red and a Q-tip.
