Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
For the gals that joined our technique club, I made some note holders for them to keep track of their wish list, supplies needed, things to remember, etc. The clear stamp cases work wonderful for holding a junior legal pad, if you have about 3/4 of an inch cut off the bottom. I cut designer papers to cover the outside and slipped it into the plastic, dressed it up just a bit, and added a strip of paper to the top of the pad inside with sticky strip. They're just the right size to throw in a purse to be able write yourself little notes. I use mine for ideas that I see, lists of things I need to order, design ideas, reminders for this forgetful brain, etc. What a handy little notepad!
For thank you cards for my orders from the workshop, I made this card...
The idea came from another demonstrator on our Stampin' Up! web site. She said that her inspiration came from the movie "Pretty Woman" where she's at the polo game and wearing that polka dot dress.
It does kind of remind me of that dress! Too funny! I made one for each person that placed an order at club and put it in their bag. The centers are chunky gold glitter with the little dots of the Dazzling Details. The DSP is from the luscious Mocha Morning pack! Yummy paper!
Larry and I did spend the day fishing last Saturday ( I sat in the sun and read on my Kindle!). It was such a beautiful day and so fun to just get out! Larry didn't catch any fish. We're still trying to figure out where to go and where to find the big fish are around here. We're planning on hauling our canoe back with us this next trip if we can fit it on,so maybe then we can get where the fish are!
We have a new scrapbooking group starting tomorrow. We will meet once a month and work on scrapbooking using the same techniques that we do on cards. Join us if you want to get some scrapbooking done and learn some new techniques at the same time.
Only a couple of more weeks to take advantage of Sale-a-bration! Going, going, gone on the free sale-a-bration products until next year! Don't miss out!
The inside shows off the other side of the pretty paper!

The inside is finished with the same flower from the hostess set, Posy Punch, punched out with the Fancy Flower punch and the Dazzling Details added for some glitz.
