Scrappin' Weekend

We had so much fun at our scrapbook overnight! Thank you, Staci for letting us invade your house with all our stuff! (And it was lots!)
We filled up the room! What a fun way to share tools and ideas!!
Katie got cold, so had to wrap up in her sleeping bag! She looks like a mummy! Donette was laughing at her! There were four of us that stayed the night and I was one of the last ones to go to sleep! Staci and I were up until 5:15 AM, then I was back up with Katie again at about 6:30 to start in again. Katie, with a young baby in the house, is used to not getting a full nights sleep, but me, not so much! I did really well on only an hour of sleep, but really crashed on Saturday night as soon as my head hit the pillow! What a fun weekend to get some pages FINALLY done! I worked on 10 pages, with just a few final touches and journaling to add to them, Katie did 11 pages, Staci 11, Donette worked on an album in progress, then several other pages, Carolann worked on cards, and Michaela did some awesome interactive pages that took a long time, but turned out so amazing!

Here's a few of our creations:
These are pages that Donette made of their trip to Seattle and the symphony there. It's hard to see in the photo, but she textured the letters, and I love how she added the tickets to the page.

This is one of Staci's layouts from their trip to New York. Look at the NBC sign from the Dresden
Die! How awesome is that?! What a great use of that die! The idea hit her about 5:00 AM, right before we went to bed for a couple of hours. See, inspiration does hit when you're tired! I love the Today show sign that she made too. Fun pages!

This is one of  Michaela's interactive pages. You turn the wheel on the left hand side, and it looks like she's blowing on the flower. It was amazing to watch her draw (yes, she drew out the face!!), plan and put into action this page! She's not putting any pictures on this page...it will be an introductory page to her book. WOW!
This was a castle pop up that she made. How amazing! Both Katie and I thought about trying one of these for the pictures of Faith's castle birthday cake that Katie made.

This is my favorite page that Katie finished...again another interactive page that took her HOURS to do, but she ended up with 27 pictures on the page! That's a bunch!! On the waterfall pictures on the right page, you lift the flaps to see each of the pictures and mini pages underneath. Each of the eggs and the title were textured with different embossing folders and the grass along the bottom edge cut by hand by Yours Truly! This page is so colorful and fun and of course, one of my favorite subjects, my Granddaughter!!
I still need to take pictures of the pages that I worked on, so will share those with you tomorrow.

Just a reminder too, to check out the Retired Accessories list...they are GOING, GOING, GONE!
There are many things that are no longer available. Don't wait too long to order!
Happy Stampin' and playin' today!
